BreadBoard Canteen(ENGINEERING SCHOOL)

During the past week, me and my friends tried out different food at the BreadBoard Canteen in Engineering School. There are 2 canteens in Engineering School and some claim that this is the better of the 2. So we decided to give it a try...

Beef Noodles

Stall : Tim Sum/Porridge ( Price : $2.30 )
Description : Yellow noodles in beef soup topped with beef chunks.
Rating : 7 out of 10

The beef noodles from this stall is tasty but slightly oily. The beef chunks are juicy and chewy. Thickness of soup is also just nice. However, it slightly falls into the salty side. And for those who needs a heavy lunch, a bowl will not be enough as the amount is quite little.

Mixed Veg. Rice(Cai Fan)

Stall : Chinese Cooked Food ( Price : $3.00 )
Description : Rice with 2 types of vegetable and 2 types of meat.
Rating : 8 out of 10

The chicken dices from this stall are spicy but is just nice. The steamed egg from this stall melts in your mouth and is recommended for those who are going light. The potatoes are appealing and the taste proves no wrong. However, the portions of dishes is small.

Grilled Chicken

Stall : Western Food ( Price : $2.60 )
Description : Grilled boneless chicken topped with mushroom sauce.
Rating : 6 out of 10

The chicken from this stall is juicy but is quite hard and slightly burnt. Fries are abit cold, making them hard. The salad is also not as fresh as it looks. Mushroom sauce is thick but traces of flour can be found. It is spicy and taste fine to me but some might find it a little salty.
